This morning, my teammate called to ask why I didnt want to go for the HK trip with the team cause he said that one of my other teammate wouldnt be going and they might need one other girl to go so they can share room. Ok, I bet you all are wondering what HK trip? Well, my coach is organising a trip to HK to have a friendly match with a HK uni team. But, the thing is, the trip is on the first week of school, and that means I would have to miss school. Actually, I dont really want to go partly because of the missing school thing, and mainly because of this reason so dumb that I have decided not to say. So anyway, I asked my mum whether I can go anot, and she said better not to go cause will miss school. Was quite relieved when I heard her reply.
Anyway, my teammate was asking the reason, so I told him that my mum dont allow cause will miss school. I think he sensed that it was a rather lame excuse, so he asked me whether I want to go anot. I dont know why, but I really didnt want to lie to him, so I told him I was half-hearted. MAN!! I could hear the disappointment in his voice man!! Then he said that I was going to my third year, and this kind of thing might not happen again, and that its very different to go with a team.
Sigh, I really know he meant well, but.. I just didnt want to go!! Actually, after that, I was quite pissed with myself for not changing my mind despite him trying to persuade me. Ok, maybe you guys don't get what I mean..
ANYWAY, on my way to school, I saw this poster saying, "Free 1 hour sit-on-top kayak rental" And I found it super funny!! Ok, maybe I don't know much about kayaks, but of course sit on top right!! Then sit below meh?! Ok, not funny..
I have only 1 week remaining for my jap module!! Quite sad, I want to learn more!!
On the train back home, I suddenly realised that I kind of miss that bugger.. Maybe my decision not to go is correct..
