Finally, FINALLY he is mine!! After so many months of waiting, anticipating, he is finally here. During this long wait, there were times when my heart wavered, and there were times when it felt like all hope was/were lost. BUT, in the end, everything turned out fine.
Bought the Wilson nSix-Two on 28 July. At first I wanted to wait for the demo racket, but I really really cannot wait le. While waiting for the guy to string my racket, we walked around for a bit before returning to the shop. That was when I saw these 2 guys holding MY racket n swinging it around. I was like, "WHAT THE BLOODY HELL?!?!WHAT ARE THEY DOING TO MY RACKET?!?!!? IF THEY TOUCH MY RACKET FOR THE SECOND TIME, I WANT TO CHANGE MY RACKET!!!" We chiong-ed into the shop and found out that one of the guys is a coach. So we were sitting there pretending to mind our own business while eavesdropping on what they were saying.
This is the gist of what they were saying: "So what tension did you string your racket?" "55 pounds" "Oh, I don't string so low. I prefer higher tension and lower string gauge. For eg, 15 gauge string strung at 60 pounds." "Oh so like that you wouldnt break your strings that often?" Then the coach guy said this.. "Oh no no. I only broke my strings ONCE. All the other times, I cut my strings cause they feel dead."
When I heard that, I immediately looked at my mum. She turned to look at me too. I BET we were thinking the same thing. "What the hell? Coach only break his strings ONCE?! What type of coach is this? Even I can break so many strings."
That coach had that arrogant aura around him. At that time, I was relatively calmed down after I saw them fiddling with my racket. After I heard their dialogue, I really really cannot stand that coach. Coach who broke his strings once != good coach. Totally totally turned off by him. And he still can say until so hao lian like that. I ONLY BROKE MY STRINGS ONCE! PUI!!!!! You don't have the power and racket speed to break your strings, then don't come out to hao lian. Don't make excuses like, my strings feels dead. The reason why your strings are dead is because you have been using them for a long long long time, and are not able to break them, so you have no choice but to cut them.
So yucky la.. Even my mum, 51 years old, still breaks her strings regularly.
Call yourself a man?! Call yourself a coach?! Stop lying la.
I seriously felt that they jinxed my racket, so I asked my mum to de-jinx it by playing with it first. But, on the condition that she cannot hit balls that are below her ankle. Wait she scratch my racket.. =P
So today I played with it. It feels SOOOO good!! Worth every single day of my 5.5 month long wait.
Anyway, I watched Tokyo Drift with mon on friday. IT TOTALLY SUCKS!! Please DO NOT watch it. Even if you are a fast car fan, please do not watch it too. The storyline was approximately nil and the acting skills were non-existent. The car races were quite fake too..
Today was the third day in a row that I went to Orchard, and also the fourth day this week that I went out. Actually I didnt want to go out, just that my mum said she wanted to get tennis shoes at queensway and didnt want to go alone, so ok lor, accompany her lor. While at queensway, I saw my racket-to-be which is Wilson nSix-Two, and another racket, nTour Two. I am really really in a dilemma!! Which racket should I get?!?!? Both feels nice, both have nice weight, and both have nice body colour!!!
nSix-Two or nTour Two?? Decisions.. decisions..
Anyway, today I played rather badly and had a little temper flying there..
Just who will perish? Me or the racket..
I really really cant wait to change racket. As in REALLY REALLY cannot wait. I don't know how long I can keep my anger controlled.

I think I really think too much, and my beliefs might be easily swayed. Just like today, after tennis, we were sitting outside the courts chatting. My friends were crapping and teasing me as usual. After a while, I suddenly started to wonder if I actually.................
Then after a while, I start imagining possible senarios that might happen, and I will think of how I would tackle them. But, in the end, everything turns out to be a case of thinking-too-much.
Something like that happened before, I shall not let it turn out to be a bad ending just like the last time. It is time to stop thinking too much..
Anyway today went Seoul Garden AGAIN, and I learnt how to cook fried carrot cake there! Next time I can cook for you all. Tennis was super tiring, must be the extra baggage I picked up from the heavy lunch. After tennis was crapping time, and we really had a nice time making fun of the new guy in the team. Behind his back of course!

Yup, she died in the latest chapter. Naraku finally killed her. I am actually really really sad that she died, and the scene where she died, the atmosphere was really, well, sad. She was my favourite character after all..
I am starting to really dread school. And I know the reason for this dread..

Today, went to watch Hoodwinked with mon at 10.30am!!! Whoa!!! By far my earliest movie I think. The movie was actually quite nice! Not as bad/corny/boring/cheesy as I thought it would be. After that, we walked to the mac at forum to continue maths tuition. Towards the middle of the session, I think mon was kinda saturated when we came across this SIMPLE simplification thing.
x^2/2x^2 = ?
She told me it is equals to x^2, and I was like, "HUH?!?!?!?". She then proceeded to explain that the square cancels out the coeff 2. I said it cancels out both x^2s but she said it was strange. I was thinking, "?!?!?!?!??!". Nearly made me doubt my answer..
I think I am quite bad. Kept asking her to do this question, that question while I just sit there n stone and stare at her. Wuahahahha!! I love such life!! Later at the end, we went to Toys 'R' Us!!! SO FUN!!!!

Just now, my NTU tennis teammates just asked if I was still on for a seoul garden outing next tuesday. And worst of all, she even asked me to organise. I nearly wanted to ask her to go and die. I really really REALLY hate it when people force me to organise outings. It totally SUCKS!! And the thought of going for seoul garden in a week's time is not very nice. I need at least 2 weeks in advance to mentally prepare myself. Ok, so maybe not 2 weeks, but at least 1 week plus!!!
Super super not gian to go for that one. Finances also not very good.
On friday, I had numerous muderous intents. You know, those thoughts that make u wanna whack the tennis ball into someone's body. Thoughts that make u whack the ball harder and harder into a corner until you make a winner. Yup, I had numerous of those thoughts on friday on the tennis court.
Last night, I had a dream whereby I woke up 1.5 hours before my exam and I was still at home!! I remembered I panicked, then I called my friend who lives nearby and had a car. I asked him where he was and he said he was in school!!! SUPER SCARY!!!
Why am I having such dreams during the holidays?!?!?!
Anyway, I want to go to Toys 'R' Us to play!!! So Fun!!
I cant believe I have around 3 more weeks till school reopens. AHHHHHHHH!!! What have I done to all my time?!?!?!? NOOOOOOOOOOOOO............

Yup, just now I went back to SRJC with mon cause she needed to get some documents verified. When we reached school, we went straight to the computing lab to find lotfi, but he was not in. So we walked to the staff room to get her documents verified and then we went back to the lab to find lotfi, still not in. By then, I was itching to see the NEW tennis courts. They extended the back fence, and resurfaced the whole thing. The courts looked great!! But I think I prefer the old courts, it has more of the homely feeling. (cannot eat grapes, say grapes sour!)
Then we walked to the gym there. I helped mon shift a bench to the pullup bar, and watched as she did 2 pullups. Let me repeat this. MON STILL CAN DO 2 PULLUPS!!! When she was done, we started laughing real loudly, reason, unknown. Next walked to the PE block toilets. I think they re-tiled it. Oh yea! I forgot we went to the toilet beside the physics lab, and they changed the light switches to motion detectors, and they didnt work. Mon even threw a bundle of tissue at the detector and it still didnt work. Mr Tan Oon How has failed!!
Went to the comp lab for the third time. We saw Mr Ho!! When he was approaching us/the lab, we greeted him. He stared at us for a while before remembering our names!! Wuahaha! Then lotfi came and he immediately remembered mon, but he stared at me blankly for quite a while before recognizing me. Sigh..
THEY UPGRADED THE COMPUTERS AND THE PRINTER!!! Lotfi chatted with mon then came to ask me abt uni stuff. He asked us to find P so off we went but we were STOPPED by this admin person. She said kok was busy, but I could see her chatting and laughing in her office..
Ok I think I better talk briefly cause you all getting bored right! Ok, so ate deep fried prata, played at playground, went back to find lotfi, lotfi went home(SLACKER!!), walked to kovan, took train to Douby Ghaut, went to the new arcade, X ZONE, played TC4 where I died real quickly, and that FUN guitar game where I beat mon. After mon left, I played photohunt and TC1. Went home and decided to cook for my mum in order to bribe her to let me out tml. Weee!
All in all, FUN DAY!! SRJC ALL FOR YOU! YOUR CALL IS OURS TOO!!
Oh yea, I forgot to add that they have a new PE shirt which is ABSOLUTELY UGLY!! Maroon and grey in colour. And, all the house and PE t-shirts are dri fit now. Grr..

Justine Henin-Hardenne just lost in the finals of wimbledon. GOD DAMN IT!!! Strangely, I am not that sad though. The important thing is tomorrow, the Gentlemen's final between Roger Federer vs Nadal the punk..

The past 2 days were spent anticipating, craving, lusting, thinking and getting excited over.. TIME CRISIS 4!!! OMG!! When I heard from yvonne that time crisis 4 was out, I was really suspicious. Is it really time crisis 4? Or did she see house of the dead 4 and thought it was time crisis? I asked where the machine was and the location was where the house of the dead machines were at. So, I half brushed it off. Then when I came back, and saw the comment from shar, I finally believed it. OMG SO EXCITING CAN!!!! (I cant believed I said that)
Just when I was getting bored of time crisis 3, god sent me a saviour, Time Crisis 4..
Ok, ok update on my life. Monday was spent creating my blog skin. Basic layout is done, so I have around 60% more to go. Then tuesday is SEOUL GARDEN with my dear SRJC tennis girls. Stuffed myself silly with char siew chicken. AND I TOTALLY LOVE THE DONG FEN!! OMG SOGGY!!!
After that, had to go back to school for tennis. When I was about to reach home, my dad called to ask where I was. I told him, "One more stop." Then when I reached my lift, I saw one lift coming down from 15th floor. Half of me thought of waiting for that lift, but in the end, I just went up. Turns out that my dad came to wait for me downstairs. Awww.....
Actually late last night, I went to search for info on Time Crisis 4. The graphics are awesome!!!
I cant wait.. I really cant!!!

Ok, so in the morning, had to go back to school for friendly match with Republic Poly. After that, a nice friend of mine sent me to Kallang, so off I went to Tamp. So met mon for arcade! Time Crisis 3 in which I didnt complete and photohunt where we couldnt beat 'OMG DOTES OH'. Went to Mac for late lunch before going back to complete our Photohunt mission. Later we just wandered around for quite a bit until we ended up in toys 'R' us!! OMG!! I LOVE TOYS R US!!! We walked around and talked about our plans when she gets in.
I TOTALLY WANT TO GET THE NOODLE!!!
Actually, the light saber also can. Anything to poke mon with..
