Wildlife is so interesting! Sunday, February 26, 2006

Although the last week was our study break, I still had to work for the whole week. Weee, more $$. My 'company' had a huge event on Wed and Thurs, so they ordered catering for the participants which number around 250 people. On 10.30 we had breakfast, then 2 hours later we had lunch and another 2 hours later, we had tea break. So for those 2 days, I have been eating and eating. We even da pao back to hall for dinner and supper, cool!

Played tennis last night with my parents and her group of friends at the condo opposite my house. After 2 sets of unfabulous tennis, I went to chat with my mum and her friend. Suddenly, my mum spotted a stork/heren flying on top of our courts. She called out, "Hey! Look at the cute bird flying there!" So we turned to look at the bird flying. It flew and flew, then flew straight into the wall of the condo. We were shocked! Like, what the hell happened?! The bird stunned after knocking into the wall then it flew off to the side. I felt it was hilarious!! Wuahahahaha!! Ok, lame.

I was supposed to complete five maths tutorials during the last week, BUT, as of now, I only completed one. Weee..

The Dread is Growing!! Wednesday, February 22, 2006

Just came back from the farewell outing for yasmeen who is going off to Aust today. Wish her the best of luck and do take care!

Went out with mon on monday because I wanted to do tarot card reading. Heard from my friend that he is quite accurate. In the end, got conned because there wasnt a fortune teller in sight, only ice cream men. So ended up walking around Orchard. When I reached hall, was quite hungry. So even though I told myself not to eat, I still ended up eating cup noodles.

Note to everyone: DO NOT eat too much cup noodles. When I was preparing the cup noodles, I could see the ajinomoto in the soup base. Eeeks!

Anyway, I always have this dread when I'm going back to hall. It comes to me regardless of whether I am going back from an outing with friends or when I am going back from home. There really isn't anything that is keeping me back to hall except for the fact that it is near school. That dread has become increasingly stronger nowadays. Sigh..

You chose to stay in hall, so just shut up, Angeline!

Worst Valentine's Day EVER!! Tuesday, February 14, 2006

Well, this year's vday sucks the most. Not because I was alone, which was the norm, but something I held dear left. Had training just now where I broke my oath to not hit myself on the court. The next thing I knew, my racket broke when I hit the ball. Was quite shocked. In fact, I stunned. The sadness didn't hit me until I was walking back to my hall. Have not thought of what racket to buy next. Might be getting the same one again. Sigh..

Poor poor racket.. You will be dearly missed..

I am feeling very tired. Sick and tired of waiting. Waited for many many years le, where the hell are you?! When are you coming?! Are you even coming?! If you are, why are you taking such a long time?! Hurry up lah!! I am really too tired to wait any longer.

Its been another busy week which ended off with a bang. I won a microwave oven! How cool is that?! Ok, for those who are wondering how I got that, my workplace had a lucky draw and I won it. Was quite pleased but, WHO TOOK MY XBOX AND IPOD?!?! I WANT!! ROAR!! My admin head won the first prize which was a PDA. Grr..

Ok, now for a brief summary of the week:

Monday = Study + Work;
Tuesday = Study + Work + Training + Run 2.4;
Wednesday = Study + Do programming;
Thursday = Study + Win lucky draw;
Friday = Study + Bring oven back home;

Actually, study doesnt mean that I studied, it just means that I had lessons. And for those who were wondering why I ran 2.4, its because I felt like it. I think I am going mad.

That damn oven is so heavy. Carried it back from my workplace to hotel and I was already sweating heavily, how to carry home like that? When I put it down in my room, my arms started acting strange. It feels totally drained of energy. So, in the end, I called for a taxi back home and it cost me $22. My mum was surprised to see the oven. Actually, the night before, I had already told her that I had a surprise for her today, so I thought she would be prepared. Never know, she was still very surprised. Went to weigh the oven and its ard 15-20kg. Is it heavy or am I getting weaker?

Stayed up till quite late to help Madeleine(KW's ex-crush) with her programming. Missed a lecture today to help her complete it too. Was questioning myself whether it is worth it, and my answer? It was worth it. It feels great to help someone.

My dear friend is leaving Singapore real soon and I don't even know whether I am able to send her off. Yasmeen, if you are reading this, I might not be able to send you off cause I might be needed at my workplace. Big event going on there. Do take good care ok. Sigh..

My Computer!! Sunday, February 05, 2006

Firstly, a happy birthday to JW! Went to his birthday party in the afternoon, and it was quite fun. The PA system totally rocks! Later, went to PS to watch Fearless which is nice! Totally dig kungfu movies!! After that, went to walk around then to arcade where we spent around $6 on that stupid lifting machine. Cheater machine la!! Was SO SO SO close to getting that PSP!!! AHHHH!!!

Later, went to mac for dinner and chatted with mon. I don't really understand, last time, was super enthusiastic(sp) when it comes to playing games, but now, like not much mood le. Nan dao.. I am growing up?!

Kinda dread going back to school. And I think I know the reason behind that. Last time, the dread wasnt that big partly because yasmeen was there and I could go find her anytime I want. But now? Even yasmeen is gone.. Looking forward to fresh recruits to NTU next sem!!

My home computer is acting REAL strange. It displays this message whenever I start the comp.

Something like that la. Anyone knows what is happening?

Warh.. Dad going to Penang tomorrow for work. Poor mum would be alone at home.. Haiz..

Looking forward to study break!! Come quick!!

Next week is gonna be a HELL week. I can feel it coming man.. The rush of tutorials and labs to complete.. SO FUN!! Wee.. I love Uni man!!

And it just gets worse..

Ok, after tomorrow/today, there wouldnt be public holidays till a long long time. So in other words, hell week starts on monday. No more nice holidays to look forward to, just shit and more shit coming up every week.
