I am SOO dead.. Saturday, July 30, 2005

Attended 6 hours worth of lectures today. First up was programming which was quite ok. Then later, mathematics, electronics and economics. I find my brain rather amazing. After 3 failed attempts to find out what the hell the lecturer was talking about, my brain automatically shut the door which allows new information to get in. In other words, after like 15mins in the mathematics lecture, my brain shut down and I couldnt get anything into my brain for the rest of the day. In even simpler words, I just sat there and looked blankly at the lecturer just like in JC. I think I better buck up, otherwise, Uni life would be BAD. To make things worse, I think I am the only one who is like that. I looked at my friends and they all seem to know what is going on. Sigh..

Anyway, I really think there are no hot hunks in Computer Engineering. I thought guys who are just out of NS would be tanned, toned, hunky types, but, what I see are just skinny and weak looking people. Are we putting OUR lives into the hands of these weak people?! I think I am going mad..

Another nice movie from Japan.. Friday, July 29, 2005

Met mon at Bugis at 1.15pm, and amazingly, she was early. Took the escalator up only to get ambushed by a team of people. How could they take advantage of us?! Anyway, after that incident, we went to have lunch at Sakae Sushi before proceeding to the National Library. The library was HUGE, but its not very established cause there werent a lot of books there yet. After browsing around, we went to Cineleisure to watch Be With You. At first, I thought it wouldnt be as nice as Crying Out Love in the Center of the World(COLITCOTW) even though the reviews were quite good. What a surprise I was in for. Be With You was a very sweet movie, makes you feel "Awww.." at the ending, unlike COLITCOTW which was heart-wrenching. After the movie, went to walk around HMV before wandering aimlessly around Taka. Finally decided to have dinner at the foodcourt.

I can only get my laptop on 24th August.. ARGH!!!!!!!

Stupid Clumsy Girl.. Monday, July 25, 2005

Oh yea, forgot to add that I washed my own laundry today. After spending about 5 mins trying to figure out how it works, I finally load the machine. When I was climbing the stairs up to my room, I was sort of looking around, for what, I don't know. Then suddenly, I accidentally kick the step with my toe and fell down. I quickly looked back to see if anyone saw me or if there was a camera there. Fortunately not, but now a little part of my toe nail is blue black. How to go for IVP trials now?!

So So Lonely..

After a terrific day yesterday, I came straight back to reality today. After the welcome day, walked around the CCA Recruitment fair with maggie, and also accompanied her to find the tutorial rooms. After she went back home, I returned to my empty hostel room. Sitting at my desk, one can't help but feel lonely and helpless. First time I felt this way since I came here not too long ago. Later, I shall have a lonely dinner. I am SO gonna get a Acer laptop.

The tennis booth guy doesnt really believe that I was in a school team before...

Went to watch the movie I was waiting for 6 months with mon, JJ, poof and kw. The movie was NICE. Well, to me and mon only lah. I even shed a tear for the main leads. But, the guys didnt even felt a thing, geez..

Later, we went to eat and chatted over horlicks. Most fun I had over ages.

Firstly, THERE ARE NO HANDSOME GUYS IN COMP ENGINE!!!!!! ROARRRRRR!! But, I think I can cope with it since I survived nearly 6 years in school without handsome guys. I shall just feed off Inuyasha and Wallace's looks. Also, there are quite a lot of foreigners in my school. When I say foreigners, I mean India, China, Vietnam, Thailand, and NOT America, France, Australia. Sigh, I sit until my butt hurts.

Travelled back home with Madeline cause she is in my course. Saw something I didnt want to see, heard some things I didnt want to hear. Maybe its true that some things just don't fade away that easily.

I am currently in NTU, hall 12's computer room. There are 8 computers in the room. And, I found out that there are 4 tennis courts near my hostel, only that they are NIE's courts. Anyway, my roommate turned out to be not as dao as I thought she was.

Just now, I took a walk from hall 4 to my hostel. The walk was a damn long one since hall 4 is located way south of my hall. Not forgetting that the road back was quite dark. Feels as if a serial killer might pop out and kill me.

I want the heritage walk goodie bag!!!!! ROAR!!

Finished At Last.. Wednesday, July 20, 2005

Finally finished painting the house, but my mum says she wants to clean the house, so my work is not done yet. Tomorrow, I will be moving all my stuff into the hostel. Spent nearly $300 on my stuff. Pillow and bolster alone costs $100. So, I will be sleeping on branded stuff every night. Hope my roommate don't steal my pillow and bolster. Oh yea, my roommate is NOT a ahneh. I have not met her yet, but she is a chinese. She is also quite messy. I think Mon might fare better than her as a roommate.

Yesterday, I watched the movie "Remember the Titans" on channel 5. It was quite a nice movie. I always sucker for movies that have themes like unity and bonding. Anyway, there was a REAL CUTE hunk in that movie. He acted as the son of a general who got transfered to the school denzel washington was coaching. He was a quarterback. Anyway, the main idea is that, HE IS REAL CUTE!! And, he kissed a guy on the lips for fun. Like, hmmmmmmm......

Tomorrow, I am going to get the keys for my room. My parents and I actually went on sat, but some hostel guy called and he said the office was closed. We were already at Boon Lay. So we wasted our trip there. Oh yea, Jurong Point is HUGE!! First time there.

You guys must watch that movie with me before I go to the depths of hell!!

Incoming Wisdom Tooth!! Thursday, July 14, 2005

I felt a slight miscomfort on my jaw for the past few days. I thought it was a toothache, so I asked my mum so see if there was a decay in my tooth. But, she saw my gum bulging out. I stuffed my finger into my mouth, and felt the tip of an incoming wisdom tooth peeking out of my jaw. I was like, "Thanks har.." Because, when my first wisdom tooth came out, it cause major mis-alignment of my teeth. Now, another one is coming out. Sigh, and I still don't feel any wiser.

Just painted an undercoat of white paint for my room. Spent the whole afternoon doing that, now quite tired. I MUST WATCH THAT JAP MOVIE!! It has both english and chinese subtitles, so its malay-friendly. SHARIFAH and MONICA, LET'S GO!!!

Anyway, the jap series 'Beauty or Beast' which is shown on channel U at 2.30pm is really nice and touching. And, the female lead, Matsushima Nanako, is so very beauty. She has this air of elegance around her, gosh..

Just read something that made me quite disgusted. I think it must be PMS.

Moving on, the Jap movie that I wanted to watch AGES ago is FINALLY OUT!! ROAR!! My heart skipped a beat when I saw its review on the newspaper. It is shown exclusively at Cineleisure. Quick! Somebody come ask me out for a movie!

Anyway, mon, remember the time in Breeks in TM? You were defending JJ mah. And my mum says she wants to repaint the house to make it look less malay-like. Too many colours in my house now. Wanna help out, mimiyan? =P

Liau JunJie REJECTED a date from me!! Ok, so it wasnt a date. I just wanted to go to school in school uniform again, and since he was getting his cert, I thought maybe we could go together. BUT HE REJECTED ME BECAUSE THERE WAS SOMEONE ACCOMPANYING HIM!! I BET that someone was a she. Hope it wasnt Suhana though.

And I think Liew Ting Wei Monica is starting to fall in love with JJ. From the way she defends him, its UNMISTAKEABLE(sp)!!

Roger Federer My Hero!!!! Monday, July 04, 2005

I was very happy last night. Roger Federer won Wimbledon AGAIN!! Most importantly, he BEAT Andy Roddick. Weee.. So happy!! He played so well yesterday. Almost seemed god-like in fact. He had less than 10 unforced errors in 3 sets, which is quite incredible, and he had a HUGE bunch of winners. SUPERB!!! Looking at him play makes my mouth water. His serve was accurate, his winners were stunning, and his passing shots were pervertic.

Watched Wimbledon ladies finals yesterday. Used every bit of my spiritual energy to will Lindsay Davenport to win. But it was not to be. She lost in 3 sets. I felt so sad for her that I nearly cried. At 28 years of age, she is counted as one of the older girls in the WTA tour. She has been talking about retirement, and this Wimbledon could be her last. WHY DID SHE HAVE TO LOSE?!?! Could see that she was holding back her tears after the finals. Haiz.. Poor poor Lindsay.. = (

Back from Genting.. Saturday, July 02, 2005

Well, quite glad to be back. The trip was fun, and the concert was quite nice. I only got enthu towards the end of the concert. During the encore, I was chanting "WEI YI!!" cause Lee Hom has not sang that song yet. Then, he really sang wei yi for me. HE SANG IT FOR ME!! Oh yea, when the audience were chanting "Lee Hom!!", I found myself chanting "Jian Hua!!". = )

Anyway, I found out more things regarding myself.

Took quite a lot of pics, but some are quite blur. Only in a few pics can you see Lee Hom's face REAL clearly. Those of you who want the pics, pls message me or leave a comment.

I still think Wallace Huo is more handsome then Wang Lee Hom.
