18 going to 19 and I actually fell from a bike.. Monday, October 03, 2005

Saturday was a very very fun day. Started the day by preparing my house for the guests. Then at 2pm, went to meet JJ and Poof to take 55 to East Coast Park. Mon was late as usual and we went to rent the bikes at 4.20pm. Rented 2 single bikes while I rode a double seated bike with JJ. We rode past East Coast Park to Mon's sweet canoeing shack then to near Esplanade. There, I made an important decision which would eventually lead to my downfall. I exchanged bikes with Liling, which means I was riding the single seated bike. All was smooth sailing until we got back to East Coast Park. Was riding alongside Mon when we saw 3 guys doing 'stunt' with their bikes. We laughed, looked at each other, and copied them. I THOUGHT it was going to be fine, but it was not. Lost balance, sent crashing to the floor, scrapped knee on to floor. Its quite amazing how I did not feel any pain. Looked down at my knee and saw that one part of the knee is white in colour. Which means the flesh is exposed. Silly me went to poke at it and it felt numb. Next thing I know, I started to feel like fainting. Quite like that time at the school hall before donating blood. Mon was a little freaked out that I wanted to faint. Stopped to rest for a while and the guys came back to join us. Rode slowly back to the shop and off we went to have dinner at Kenny Rogers.

Later, everyone went back to my house for stay-over. Mon, JJ and I went on an Inuyasha marathon. Watched till 4am before sleeping. Woke at 9am++ and decided to peek at the guys sleeping, but never know, they were all awake. Brought them for prata breakfast and it was time to break camp. Only Mon and I went back to continue watching Inuyasha. Mon also 'helped' me to put iodine on my wound. Was quite paranoid cause I remember last time my mum put alcohol on my wound and it hurts like HELL. Luckily, it didnt hurt at all and we resume Inu marathon. The last episode is so errrrrr.. Left the viewers hanging. Fortunately I read the manga so it wasnt that confusing.

Hope you guys had fun. I really wasnt a good host.

Next outing : To Mon's or JJ's house!!
