Once again, I'm gonna be stalked by a stranger. First, it was still^fly, now, a banglah. It happened like this. On sunday, I was waiting for the bus at boon lay back to my hotel, then this indian/banglah came to sit next to me in the queue. I was messaging my friend using my mum's nokia phone cause my phone was sent for repair. Then the banglah saw it and this was the conversation that followed:
B==Banglah, M=Me;
B:"That is an old phone!"
M:"Er.. yea."
B:"Why you still using this old phone?"
M:"My phone spoilt.."
B:"Why you still using this old phone?"
(He is talking with a thick indian accent and likes to repeat his qns.)
M:"My NEW samsung phone is spoilt."
B:"You working?"
M:"No, I'm studying"
B:"Where you studying?"
M:"NTU"
B:"Got boyfriend?"
M:"Err.... no"
B:"Oh very good. Studying no do boyfriend, after studying do boyfriend!"
(I was like thinking "what the hell...")
He proceeded to ask me questions about my family and where I live and I continued to give him one-lined answers. Finally the bus came and I thought I was freed from this conversation, but no. He went on to ask if he can have my hp number. I said "Er.. no.." Then he said "like brother-sister like that, can anot?" I said "Cannot lah.." Then I proceeded to the back of the bus to sit down, and he came to SIT beside me. And, he sat DAMN close to me. I could even smell the scent of alcohol on his body. ARGH!! Then he said, "I give u my number." Thinking that this would make him stop pestering me, I agreed to take down his number. That was SOO dumb of me. He asked me to give him missed call. Having no other choice, I did so. I was looking around for people to help me. Looked out of the window thinking "God.. please make this stop.." At last, he alighted, but when I was reaching my hostel, my phone rang and he was calling me!! REJECT CALL. He called again, REJECT CALL. He called 3 times. Persistant Idiot..
This incident just taught me this. When strangers approach you, remain FIRM. NEVER give in. If all else fails, call a friend and pretend to talk serious matters with he/she. I should have messaged my friend to tell her to call me. God, so dumb of me!! = (
