Well, I just realized something after this birthday, and that is, it is not about how many remembered, rather, its about WHO remembered.
To be frank, just like JJ, I didn't have much expectations this birthday. Maybe its because I didnt put in a lot of effort on other people's birthdays. 30mins before my birthday, I was sleeping in bus 170 which was stuck in a jam near the Johor checkpoint. What a start don't you think?
At 11.56pm, JJ msged me happy birthday, was quite glad that someone remembered. When I reached home, in a bid to avoid misc people from wishing me happy birthday, I appeared offline on msn.
For the first time in a long while, I appeared offline the whole time I was on msn.
For the first time in a long while, I went to watch a movie alone.
For the first time in a long while, 28th October didn't feel like my birthday.
But all that changed on the evening of my birthday when JJ, Eileen and HL came to visit me in my hall. Although we didn't do much, could still feel the warmth. A summary of what happened on that evening. At around 7.30pm, JJ reached my hall and he asked me whether HL wished me happy birthday. Immediately, I knew Eileen wasn't the only one who was coming. So in order to not make them disappointed that I know about the surprise, I had to act surprised when I saw HL. Ok, sounds confusing rite haha! JJ said my acting skills are good, WEE!
So after dinner, they went back to my hall to chat and a while later, after I came back from the toilet, I realised that my door is locked. So subtle har!! HAHAHAHA. After waiting outside for 5 mins, they finally opened the door and surprise surprise, the cake was there haha! So after cutting the cake, HL smashed the cake on my face. The cake even went into my nose, THANKS HAR. The best thing was that when I wanted to wash off everything off in the toilet, all the cubicles on both floors were occupied.
So that concludes 28th October. On 29th October, my friend came over to my room to rush assignment. We do until 4.30am when we couldn't take it anymore, and concussed. Had to wake up at 9am, cause I had to rehearse for presentation. So on 30th October, I had a sore eye, 2 presentations and dinner with my tennis teammates.
Another summary of what happened: At around 7.15pm, I met 1 of my teammates to go to Jurong Point for dinner. We were supposed to meet the guys captain there, so when we reached there, he told us to meet him at Fish & Co. So ok lor, we walked there, but before we reach, I saw a group of my teammates there already. Actually I already knew something was on, but cannot say ma wait they think I bhb. Turns out 13 of my teammates were already there waiting for me. They even made a card for me and I think the guys captain got all of my teammates(around 25 people) to write on it. WAS DAMN TOUCHED!! So soon after, the Fish & Co people made me stand on a chair while they sang a birthday rap followed by a song. And they made me blow out the candles which was 50cm away from me, quite MALU but it was fun la, HAHA!!
So after blowing the candles, the guys captain gave me my present. Wah lau!! They bought me a 8gb creative mp3 player!! Was damn damn damn guilty and touched. Was questioning whether I deserved this anot. Can see that he really put in a lot of effort. During dinner, my female teammate asked me a question that really made me think.
Suddenly, for the first time in my life, I felt something I nevered felt before, NAN DAO!!!
So that concludes 30th October. On 31st October, I finally finished and handed in that stupid bloody Neural Networks assignment, PHEW! So after class, I met my mum at marina square for lunch/dinner and when I got back home, SURPRISE SURPRISE!! Something was already waiting for me on my desk!! Actually on the lift up, my dad told me that someone sent me a postcard, and he said that the ghost on the postcard was very scary. Then I was like, "Warh wat postcard is that? Halloween one har." Then he said that on the post card, there was a girl, and a big ghost beside her. He said the ghost looks super scary. I was like, "?!?!?!"
So when I reached home, I saw the postcard and nearly LOL-ed. HAHAHAHAHAHHAHA!!!! UN-UN IS BACK!! HAHAHA!! Opened the envelope and saw the poster. I REALLY LIKE IT A LOT MAN!!! I shall frame it up and hang it in my room.

All in all, I am really touched that I have such great friends. Must be something I did in my previous life. Thanks to JJ, Eileen, HL, NTU Tennis people, MONICA and all others who contributed one way or another!!!

The ghost must be Monica herself rite?? Your dad must had a BIG fright seeing her pic on the postcard!!! LOLX!!!!
