Physics of Tennis!! Wednesday, March 22, 2006

Ok, today I had physics of sports lecture. I went in at 1.20pm and there were only a few people sitting in the LT. The booming sound of silence in the LT is deafening. Finally the lecturer came in and he was carrying a tennis bag!! Immediately grabbed my attention. He said a guest lecturer would be coming to talk about the physics of tennis. At the start of the lecture, the lecturer asked, "So, how many of you play tennis?" And I didnt even bother to raise up my hand. In the end, nobody raised up their hands. The lecture was ok la, talked about things I already knew. Oh yea! The lecturer asked, "So what would you do to get more power from your racket? Do you lower the tension of the strings or increase it?" Almost everyone answered, "increase the tension" which was WRONG!! SUCKERS!! =p

So that lecture ended my day in school. Was walking back to hall when a surveyor from SDU stopped me. She asked me questions regarding marriage, dating and social interactions with the opposite gender. There were quite a few rather silly questions like:

  1. Is it acceptable to marry a spouse who have a higher income than you but have lower education qualifications?
  2. Is it acceptable to marry a spouse who have a higher income than you but have equal education qualifications?
  3. Is it acceptable to marry a spouse who have a higher income than you but have higher education qualifications?
The answers are 1 for strongly disagree and 7 for strongly agree. I answered 6, 6, 7. I mean which girl in the right mind would disagree?! Ok, despite my answers, I don't really mind him being less educated than me(does not mean less capable). The important thing is, he has a HIGHER income than me. Ok, I am a materialistic(sp) person. At the end of the survey, she asked me whether I was attached. Imagine if she asked me in the beginning of the survey and I answered no, then she would stop me and say, "SORRY! YOU ARE NOT ELIGIBLE FOR THIS SURVEY!" Wuahahahha..

Qns: Is it acceptable to have pre-marital sex?
Ans: 1(Strongly disagree)

I stated that the suitable age to get married for females is 28. BUT!! I am going to Japan when I am 28!! HOW HOW HOW!!! ROAR! Leave him alone for one month before getting married to see if he will cheat on me. Wuahahahha.. LAME!
