I'm back!! Had a really fun time in Kuala Kangsar..
Although didnt get a lot of red packets..
Really enjoyed myself there..
Day 1
Reached my auntie's house at ard 4.30am..
Went back to sleep cause we were simply too tired..
Woke at ard10am..
Had breakfast and waited for my cousin to come back from school..
Then we went to the Lost World of Tambun!!
Ok.. basically its a small water theme park..
My cousin's boyfriend drove us there..
And btw.. they are just 2 years older than me..
The theme park was rather fun..
But having to climb up to take the ride is not that fun..
Day 2
Woke up at ard 9am I think..
Then at ard 3pm, the fire cracker guy came..
Apparently my cousin called him to come..
So he drove into the compound and showed us his good which were in the boot of his car..
There were a LOT of fire-cracker thingy..
Actually they werent exactly fire crackers..
Just that I dunnoe how to call them..
We bought fireworks, some spinning thingy, some spraying thingy and some flying thingy..
Later I went to play badminton with my smaller cousin..
When we came back, it was abt time for the reunion dinner..
After the dinner, we went to play with the fire crackers..
The fireworks were SUPERB!!
It was really really nice.. And my bro caught it all on tape..
Day 3
Played mahjong with my cousin and bro in the afternoon..
Then had to go play tennis with my aunt's friend together with my parents..
After that, went to eat steamboat in my aunt's friend's house..
The area they live in is a rich area..
Then somebody was letting out fireworks..
It was SOO beautiful.. Far better than ours..
I was watching TV when I heard the explosions..
Nearly slipped when I rushed out of the house..
The fireworks was quite similiar to the ones we see in NDP..
Only that NDP ones have a larger explosion..
Went back and played mahjong till 3am..
Day 4
Went to Gua Tempurong in the afternoon..
It's a HUGE cave situated in Ipoh..
Upon reaching there.. found out that we couldnt go for the GRAND tour..
Cause it takes place in the morning..
So we had to settle for the simpler tours..
Climbed quite a lot of stairs..
The guide showed us stones that looked like animals..
The cave is quite cool.. as in temperature..
But it was humid.. so I was sweating..
And there little crystals in some of the rocks..
We reached the top of the cave.. And saw how deep the cave actually was..
It was really DEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEP...
The grand tour would take us down there..
So we decided to go again tml for the grand tour..
Went back to Ipoh town to shop ard..
And as expected.. I didnt get anything..
Then went to eat yu sheng at a restaurant..
Played cards until 2am..
Day 5
Woke up quite early cause there would be a lion dance..
My uncle tied cabbage and a long fire cracker down his balcony..
We waited and waited but the lion didnt come..
So in the end had to reschedule the performance cause we had a cave appointment..
Reached the cave at 10.50am..
Just in time for the Grand tour..
We went into the cave by ourselves and waited for the guide at the top of the cave..
He led us down the cave and asked us to off our torches..
It was dark.. REALLY dark..
All you can see is Black..
Then he asked us to on the torch and led us out of the pavement..
Thats when the fun begin..
We walked along the river flowing in the cave..
Then at times, the cave was so low that we had to duck walk our way through..
After walking for quite a long time, we reached the exit..
Then we climbed up a small hill and saw the expressway at the far end..
Then we had to go back into the cave..
We walked back the same way until we reached the pavement..
Then we went another way..
The water was deeper now..
Sometimes to above my knee..
Then we reached dry land.. then there was this steep slope where we had to slide down..
A hole awaited us down the slope..
After everyone was down the slope, we had to climb down this hole..
It was not very high, but still.. quite intimidating..
One by one, the group climbed down the hole..
Then we walked in the river again..
The water was colder by now..
Duck walked through some low places..
Then we reached this Super low place and there was water..
The guide asked the ones in front to crawl through tt..
So we crawled.. I crawled on my knees n hands..
The water was quite high, ard 3/4 knee height..
Then at the end, the top was even lower, and I had to squeeze out..
In the end, my shorts were wet..
Then the guide led the ppl at the back by another way where they need not crawl in the water..
We were like.. Wth... but the crawling was fun!!
That wasnt the last of the crawling..
A few minutes later, we have a choice to crawl or to walk..
I chose crawling.. So me n my cousins crawled our way through the water..
Later, we had to crawl on stones and water..
Seriously, we all looked like illegal immigriants(spelling)..
After lotsa crawling and walking, we reached the entrance of the cave..
It marked the end of the journey..
Slept all the way back to Kuala Kangsar..
Took the coach back to Singapore at 8pm..
Btw, the photohunt in the arcades of Ipoh are.. DISGUSTING!!
I caught a glimpse of a couple playing..
And there was a naked lady there.. Eeeww....
And ppl can smoke in the arcades!! SO DAMN SMELLY!!
So sad.. I couldnt get to eat the Kaya Balls in Ipoh.. = (

EVERYBODY.. rou ling is my cousin.. pretty gal who has a driving license.. two years older than me.. has a great boyfriend..
shes practically married to him.. =P
