Hello once again! Sunday, September 18, 2011

It's been a while since I last posted. Many things have happened since then and those things that happened have set me thinking..

Thinking of where I will be in the next 5 years..
Thinking of whether I want to be there in the next 5 years..
Thinking of whether it is worth spending my next 5 years here..

This job of mine has really changed me. I have never viewed Singaporeans the way I viewed them now. It is indeed an eye-opener and I never regretted joining this profession of mine. However, certain things just make me want to give it all up. First of all, the members of public. Sure there are people who are really grateful for what you have done for them; but there are still those black dots around that are just never satisfied and complain at the slightest thing. There are times when I just want to slap them and tell them that "I DON'T OWE YOU A LIVING YOU ASSHOLE".

It doesn't help that the management takes those black dots very seriously. They wouldn't even flinch at the thought of sacrificing a fellow man just to please those black dots. Everywhere you go, there are dangers around the corner. For me, everyday I am dealing with cases that might just explode and blow my career away. Do people understand the feelings we go through? The stress that comes with handling those cases and members of public? Do they see the time we spend slogging our asses away just to serve them? Just to see that the rightful justice is done? NO! All they see are SERVANTS, drawing a monthly salary which is made up of their income tax. Do they even know that behind that card, is a normal human being? A normal person who would like to be left alone when they go for a holiday, a normal person who would like to enjoy their weekend peacefully, a normal person who wants to be appreciated.

Sometimes, I wonder if it is worth all this stress and heartache. Maybe it doesn't matter anymore..

So after 2+ months of not blogging, I'm BACK!!

Actually I just wanted to blog about a dream I had last night, DAMN FUN DREAM!!

Ok, so in my dream, I think I met this DAMN HANDSOME guy who turns out to be a vampire. He brought me back home, and that's when I realised he had a wife! I remember this one part where I was in the study room with him, and his wife came in so I hid behind a desk. Then the wife approached the desk and I was like crawling around the desk to avoid being spotted by her, HAHA!!! But in the end, she saw me and she gave me a very very very eerie grin.

Ok, second scene was when someone came to visit me in his home (apparently I moved in already). Then I was in this dining room with a super LONG table, like those in castles. So we were chatting chatting when the wife came in. I think she wanted to bite me or something hahahahha!!! And she was chasing me around the long long table, then END OF DREAM!

Woke up quite exhausted hahaha!!

Anyway on a lighter note, I AM GOING TO AYUMI CONCERT!!! WEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!

Yup yup, back blogging. Nothing much happening in my life now, except for the ever-present FYP.

Anyway, just wanted to blog about yesterday when me and my teammates went to send off this other teammate who was going to Shanghai for exchange. It was the first time I was in T3!! Haha so sua koo right! T3 was great man, especially the Popeye's! Actually one of the main purpose to go to T3, other than sending off my teammate, was to eat Popeye's chicken!! Warh quite shiok man!! The mashed potato and fries were damn nice, and the chicken also damn nice!! Better than KFC's.

I think I shall end here, need to do FYP but bloody hell still typing here.

Oh yea, wanted to say that the scene at the airport totally reminded me of the time we went to send mon off! Haha MON COME BACK SOON!!

One of my gerbils just passed away..

My mum accidentally stepped on it while both of them were out on their daily run around the house. I don't blame her, I really don't. But I just can't help but feel depressed.

Maybe you guys might think, die die lor, it's just a pet anyway.

It's another matter if you treat them like part of the family.
It's another matter if you see it limping away trying to stay alive.
It's another matter if you see it cough up blood all over your floor.
It's another matter if all you can do is stand there and look at its lifeless body.

I buried him under a tree below my flat. It's kinda surreal when you think that just 10mins ago, you were feeding him sunflower seeds.

I thought I would feel better this morning but I don't think it's gonna happen anytime soon.

Feel quite sad for my other gerbil too. His brother whom he has cuddled together to go to sleep, groomed together, play fight together all his life is gone. Leaving him all alone in this world.

Don't think 2009 will be a good year for me.

Goodbye, rest in peace boyboy..

I just had a HILARIOUS dream involving me and mon in Japan!!

In my dream, mon was in this 'talent' contest held in a temple and she was dressed in a KIMONO!!! I remember she had to answer quite a few questions and had to dance some dance. Anyway, I was beside her (I wasn't dancing ok!!) and was wearing this costume that made me look like a monster.

So after the contest, we went back to the backstage to wait for the results. On our way back, suddenly 2 judo students appeared in front of us and started fighting! I remembered 1 is blue belt and the other is white belt. So, I wanted to stop them from fighting and apparently they were quite angry that I broke them up and the blue belt wanted to fight me whennnnn I SLAMMED the blue belt!! Damn shiok!!! Hahahahha!! Mon was astonished that I managed to slam him.

Anyway, it was time for the results and mon didnt managed to get into the next round because not everyone voted or something like that. She was quite sad so I told her I will asked those that didnt vote, to vote. So off I went to the temple to get details and suddenly, the temple shrank! The temple girl came out to talk to me and she was the size of a lego figurine. While she was talking, a cat (lego sized also) came to attack her and I pushed the cat away. Then, the cat started to grow bigger and bigger but I managed to smack it hard enough to make it run away.

So back to the lego girl, I was speaking japanese to her!! As in super broken japanese and she managed to understand and she gave me the directions to the people who didnt vote. So on my way to find them, it started to rain heavily so I ran all the way to those people. The people I first met was a middle age couple and I started to talk in jap to them. I remembered saying :"私の日本語はとても大変です。" Haha! Sounds damn wrong!

Anyway, the lady requested that mon do her act again so that she can decide whether she was worth her vote so off I went to find mon to see if she took off her make up already anot. Then I woke up!! Haha!

After that dream, I was super super tired la!! Maybe I think too much in the dream already, hahah!!

Mon you can stop rolling on the floor already..

Dreams Sunday, December 14, 2008

OMG!! I must talk about a dream I had last night!!! Actually I had several dreams but this was the only one that I remembered.

In my dream, I think I just joined either ATV or TVB and got to know this other actress whom I don't remember who. Anyway I remember having quite a lot of fun with the other newly-joined actresses and that there was a HUGE dinner for the whole company. Before the dinner, they showed clips of all the nice shows in the company and there was MY DATE WITH A VAMPIRE! They even showed an alternate ending for the show and when I saw that ma xiaoling didn't end up with kuang tianyou, I said EEYER quite loud.

Anyway, after that exhibition, it was time for the dinner and I was sitting beside Joey Meng (Ma xiaoling)!!!!! I even talked quite a bit with her. Halfway through the dinner, it was time for us to change into another set of clothes so off we went to this other house. I changed quite fast so I waited for my friends outside the house, then SUDDENLY!!! Louis Koo appeared behind me!! Aparrently in the dream he wasnt very famous yet, but I still went up to him to ask for an autograph and he signed it on my palm haha! At first he wanted to sign but he didnt really touch the pen on my hand, maybe he wanted to tease me!?? So only on the second time, he successfully signed.

After the autograph, I was super happy and told my friends that louis koo will be very famous in the future. I have no idea how I knew. Anyway my friend asked me whether I was really from the future cause during my interview, she heard that I once mentioned that I was from the future. THEN I WOKE UP!!!

Hahaha very confusing right!! What a fun dream man!! Hahahhha!!
